Samurai Champloo, que se emitió en 2004, se destaca como un anime revolucionario dirigido por Shinichirō Watanabe. Mezclando perfectamente el drama histórico con elementos del hip-hop, creó una experiencia visual y musical única que cautivó tanto a los entusiastas del anime como a los fans del hip-hop, ganando reconocimiento tanto a nivel nacional como internacional.
El soundtrack de Samurai Champloo, que presenta temas de Nujabes, Fat Jon, FORCE OF NATURE y Tsutchie, ha logrado impresionantes ventas, con 40,000 copias vendidas en cuatro títulos de CD y sus reimpresiones en vinilo en 2022. Incluso después de dos décadas, sigue disfrutando de un tremendo apoyo.
El 6 de noviembre, estos cuatro títulos se lanzarán en casete. Siguiendo la popularidad de los discos de vinilo, este formato lo-fi atraerá no solo a los fans de la serie, sino también a los entusiastas de la música.
